Meet Iwuamadi Oscar- One of The Strong Bones Of ABSU Sports( See details)

Iwuamadi Oscar is a well known sports man in Abia state university.

His interest and devotion to sports and development of sport in Abia state university began at the time he got admitted into the prestigious university.

He began this quest by assisting the school coach and the SUG director of sports in seeing to the proper placement of good sporting activities in the institution.

He has represented his department- history and international relations, in several departmental competition, he extended his tentacles to the faculty where he represented the faculty of humanities and social sciences  at the first inter faculty games, in which he acquired a gold medal in 400m race, a gold medal also in 100 men relay race and also a bronze medal in 1500m race.

His didn't stop there, he scaled through and became  a team member of ABSU athletic team, and followed the team to University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he came first in 400m race and 2nd in 400m men final race qualifying to represent south east region zone G at Benue state university.

His currently the fastest quarter miller in south east zone G.

He is a certified grade one football referee currently in the Nigerian Nationwide league.

Some students call him ABSU best referee while others acknowledge him as number one sport man in ABSU.

Of  course he plays football too, he has been representing his department in the Vice Chancellors cup, since 2016.

He is making a move to get involved into a sport position, to imprint his legacy in the endless historical account of ABSU achievements
